The Jester

JOKE-R is less a person and more a clown wearing another clown wearing another joke. Peel back one layer and there is a bit. Peel back another and there is a punchline. Keep opening and eventually you hit the empty center, where only a tiny echo remains saying, 'Ha. Didn’t expect that, huh?' JOKE-Rs are the designated mood crew of every social gathering. With them around, the room does not go cold. The loudest laugh often comes from them too, because sometimes the biggest laugh is simply the most efficient way to cover the sound of a fracture inside.
